119A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards informed L.J.Archdeacon, trainer, that Connor Of Mali, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Connor Of Mali trained by L.J.Archdeacon was a gelding and not a colt as shown on its passport. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Rule 148(xii), fined L. J. Archdeacon €130 on this occasion.

119B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Glyfada, ridden by G.M. Ryan, Mo Mhuirin, ridden by A.J. Slattery, and What About Us (GB), ridden by D. Browne McMonagle where it appeared Mo Mhuirin ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G. M. Ryan stated that his mount was green and rolled back in slightly. A. J. Slattery stated that he took a precautionary check. D. Browne McMonagle stated that he maintained his line but his mount rolled out very slightly. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action. Mr C. Murphy recused himself from this enquiry.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Mo Mhuirin, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check one furlong out.

J. Pietropaolo, rider of Flawless Fusion, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around when she came off the bridle.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Glyfada, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a little intimidated at the two furlong pole and rolled around after that.

119C FEXCO M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Hygge (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met with some interference in the straight.

S. Foley, rider of Mystic Bella, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

Mr C. J. Sweeney, Stipendiary Steward, recused himself from all deliberations for this race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Chipsrdown, trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Paul W. Flynn, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Nibras Rainbow, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Paul W. Flynn stated that his charge has a liking for this track and this coupled with a front running ride from a good draw may have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

A. Browne-Souza, rider of Friars Gate, trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Secret Magician, trained by Martin Hassett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run in the straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

119E Brehon Hotel H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Mount Eden, ridden by P.A. Harnett, and Chicago Moon, ridden by W.J. Lee, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Delusional, ridden by S.T. McCullagh, and Cameclose, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

119F Outlook Publications (QR) H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Factual Fact (FR), ridden by Mr J. Dunne, Wandering Rocks (GB), ridden by Mr A.D. Bustin, and Dark Note (GB), ridden by Ms E.C. Costello, where it appeared Wandering Rocks and Dark Note ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr J. Dunne stated that he felt he was clear and heard no shout. Mr A. D. Bustin stated that he kept his line but received pressure from his outside and had to take back. Ms E. C. Costello stated that she received pressure from her outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr J. Dunne, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended Mr J. Dunne for two racedays.

Ms N.M. Bradley, rider of Hidalgo Des Mottes (FR), trained by Eoin Griffin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount was slowly away.
